Getting More Interesting

The class is starting to get more interesting now that we are starting to get into some more applied stats rather than theory or just defining term as much of that was review for me since i have already had a graduate level stats class. I am hoping to learn how to do hypothesis testing or find p value in R and learn different methods of finding this probability value.

Theryn,

I have not yet had a grad level stats course, but I also feel that the class is starting to get more interesting as we move into the meat of it. I've noticed that we are having more class discussions based on experimental models, rather than on mathematical abstractions- something that's never been easy for me to grasp. If I can understand how to apply something, then it's usually easier for me to understand how it works in theory.

Cheers,

Rebecca
